6TH Grade: Levels of Organization and Nervous System

#1) Levels Of Organization Presentation

Levels Of Organization Activity: 

A) Game: All students get up from their seats and are told they are"cells." They then have to join with a partner in the class to become a "tissue." Then the groups of "tissues" must find another group of "tissues" to join with and become an "organ." They are asked to choose an organ to represent. Finally, the groups of "organs" join with another group of students to become different "organ systems."

B) Drawing: Students draw and label the levels of organization in their notebook and write examples of each: cell, tissue, organ, and organ system
