1ST and 2ND Grade- Plants

 This lesson works for both 1st and 2nd grade and covers the parts of a plant and the plant reproduction cycle

Presentation: Plants

Activities: I assigned simple movements to each part of the plant, and we put the movements together to this song. Students loved it! Flower, Stem, Leaves, and Roots Song

Drawing Crazy Flowers: Students took turns rolling a giant die (can also use an online dice roller). I would ask "how many roots?", the student would roll the dice, and then they would draw that amount of roots on the board. I repeated this exercise with all parts of the plant.
